She holds a lollipop like a dare, looking straight through you. Suspended inside a constellation of blurred light, a swallow escapes the frame she refuses to leave. The gaze is everything. The candy is an answer to a question she stopped asking.

She's not stuck. She just doesn't see a reason to move.
